Delivery Vehicle Left Running Stolen: Harrison PD A food delivery vehicle that was left running was stolen in Harrison on the evening of Monday, Dec. 2, authorities said. At 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Bergen Street where a delivery driver for a local restaurant said he left his vehicle unlocked and running as he delivered food to a customer, Harrison police said. As the delivery driver was at the customers door, a red sedan pulled up near his vehicle, and the suspect exited the red sedan, entered his vehicle, and fled the area, police said.

At 9:30 p.m., a delivery person arrived on a moped with a food order at an apartment building on the 900 block of Broad Street, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.  After parking his vehicle in the parking lot, the suspect struck the worker in the back of the head, calling him to fall to the ground unconscious, Fragé said.
