Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash: Fanwood PD A motorcyclist had to be airlifted to a hospital after a crash in Fanwood on the evening of Friday, Oct. 18, authorities said. At 9:18 p.m., officers responded to a crash at Midway Avenue and Tillotson Road after a motorcycle collided with a vehicle, Fanwood police said in a release. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported by helicopter to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition, police said. This incident is currently under investigation, with the Union County Police Traffic Unit assisting, police said.
