Man With Phony License Plates Busted In Wallington: Police
A man was arrested in Wallington on Friday, April 11, while driving a car with a stolen license plate and giving police false information, authorities said.
At 10:30 a.m., a license plate reader alerted officers to a blue Hyundai Santa Cruz traveling east on Wallington Avenue, displaying a stolen license plate registered out of New York, Wallington police said.
During a traffic stop, the driver, Daniel Gatson, presented a driver’s license belong to an individual who had an active warrant in Virginia, police said.

Two Arrested After Driving With Stolen License Plate: Secaucus PD
Two Paterson residents were arrested on Wednesday, July 24, after police spotted them driving a car with a stolen license plate in Secaucus, authorities said.
At 9:33 p.m., officers located the vehicle in the area of Meadowlands Parkway and 10th Street, Secaucus police said. A traffic stop was initiated and police arrested Erykah Harmon, 26, and charged her with receiving stolen property, police said. Harmon also had an outstanding warrant out of Newark, police said.

An Albany man wanted out of several jurisdictions tried to run from police after they stopped his car on the Palisades Interstate Parkway and found him carrying a gun, authorities said.
Ammar Ali, 33, was driving a 2002 Honda Civic that was stopped on the southbound parkway in Alpine shortly after 1 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, PIP Police Lt. Raymond E. Walter said.

Police: Hit-And-Run Texas Driver, 28, Lied About Cause Of Morris County Crash
A 28-year-old driver lied to police about how he damaged his car after a hit-and-run crash in Hanover, authorities charged.
Adam Barron, 28, left his disabled vehicle on Route 10 in Hanover after a crash on Sunday, August 16, authorities said in a release.
Officers traced it back to Barron at the nearby Extended Stay Hotel.
Barron, of Denton, Texas, told police he was struck while making a U-turn and was chasing down the vehicle that hit him when his own car broke down, authorities said.
