HIM? Bloomfield Police Seek Beauty Store Thief
Authorities are seeking the public's help identifying a man who they say stole two flat irons worth nearly $157 from a Bloomfield beauty store. The manager of Sally’s Beauty on Bloomfield Avenue saw a younger Hispanic man pictured above steal the electronic tools on Sept. 5, Bloomfield Public Safety Director Samuel DeMaio said. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Bloomfield Police.

Garfield police turned to the public for help Thursday in finding two men wanted for questioning in connection with $11,000 in cash, jewelry and electronics during a home burglary. No one was home when the burglars entered through a side window of the Farnham Avenue residence shortly before 5:30 p.m. June 6, Detective Capt. Richard Uram said. Glen Rock PD Charges Nanny With Stealing Electronics From Employers
Glen Rock police suspect that a nanny from Garfield who's charged with stealing $2,000 worth of electronics from her employers stole $18,500 worth of their jewelry, as well. The Rutland Road homeowners had given Sarah Zughbi, 28, full access to the inside of the family home when they hired her to care for their children, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Police who charged her with stealing $2,000 worth of electronics suspect that she also stole jewelry from the home over a two-month period and sold it a pawn shop, he said.
