The former US Marine was a 22-year member of the Berkeley Township PD, and died "suddenly," his department announced Friday, Feb. 17. Cullen began in the patrol division before he was reassigned to the detective bureau in 2007. His duties included general investigations, property and evidence, and Megans Law.  Cullen was known for his tenacity, his compassion and was known and respected statewide for his investigative prowess. Authorities: Long Island ID Thieves With Infant Had Stolen Gun, More In Lyndhurst Apartment A Long Island couple ran an ID theft operation from a leased apartment in Lyndhurst where they'd just moved in with their 14-month-old daughter, authorities said following a raid there. Diamond Holder, 24, and Mohamed Konate, 26, both most recently of Amityville, NY, were found with bogus credit cards, fake driver's licenses and a stolen gun when they were busted, Detective Lt. Nutley Fraud Victim Gets At Least Four Bad Checks From Same Person: Police An Uber driver ended up getting cheated out of thousands of dollars by an acquaintance who wrote a series of bad checks, police in Nutley said.  The driver told police Tuesday the person requested a ride to Indiana at an agreed-upon price of $850. When they returned, the driver was given a check for $4, 294 as payment. The person asked the driver to keep the $850 and to send the balance to the person via Zell, a cash-transfer app.  The check bounced and the driver ended up overdrawing an account, police said.  The person sent the driver another check for $4,750, which bounce…
