A Pennsylvania man is behind bars on allegations that he burglarized half a dozen Morris County businesses — including a retail and convenience store, restaurant, and three gas stations — over the course of three months, authorities announced.
Kenneth K. Cook, 48, was charged with various counts of theft, burglary, criminal mischief, and conspiracy, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said in a release with local officials on Tuesday, June 7.

A man was charged with child endangerment and other offenses after firing a gun inside a Morris County home and causing property damage, authorities announced.
Stephen J. Clemo, 46, is accused of firing a gun in front of a victim and their family, including a child, inside a home on Egbert Hill Road in Morris Township around 8 p.m. on Monday, April 18, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. A Morris County man spat at investigating officers and damaged a wall at police headquarters as he was being processed for an unrelated matter, authorities said.
Marcellis Smallwood, 18, was being processed at Mount Olive Township Police Headquarters on Flanders Drakestown Road in Budd Lake when he spat at officers numerous times around 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, authorities said.

NY Man High On Toxic Fumes Harassed Others, Threw Furniture At Morris County McDonald’s: Police
A man from New York had inhaled toxic fumes before harassing others and throwing furniture around at a Morris County McDonald’s restaurant, authorities said.
Jose Santos Lovos, of Yonkers, is accused of getting into an altercation with another man at the Morris County Mall’s McDonald’s restaurant on Tuesday, Jan. 25, Hanover Police said in a Tuesday, Feb. 15 release.
Lovos, 49, was seen throwing furniture around the restaurant while cursing and yelling at the man, according to police.
A follow-up investigation found that Lovos had inhaled toxic fumes prior to the incident, police said.

Newark Man, 18, Stole 9 Cars From North Jersey Dealership: Prosecutor
A Newark man was slapped with a slew of theft and burglary charges after stealing a total of nine cars from a Morris County auto dealership, authorities said.
Ahjhir Jones, 18, is accused of stealing the vehicles from GT Motors in Morristown August 6, 2021, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said Monday.
He was identified via surveillance footage and fingerprinting, Carroll said.
