A 42-year-old man was captured with help from the US Marshals Service in connection with a recent home burglary in North Jersey, authorities said.
Julio Ponce, of Clifton, is believed to have gone into a Nutley home on Monday, Oct. 9, on Raymond Avenue, and taken a woman's purse from a tabletop around 10 a.m., while she was showering, Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo said.

Nancy Wandell, 52-year-old Jersey City woman was arrested and charged on Tuesday, Sept. 5 with breaking into a residence in Bayonne last month, authorities said.
On Saturday, Aug. 5, police responded to a residence on West 42nd Street on a report of a burglary and theft, Captain Eric Amato said. The victim said Wandell entered the apartment and removed her purse, which had the victim's identification and debit/credit cards, Amato said. A New York State man who tried using a stolen credit card at a lumber store in Oakland also had a driver’s license in someone else’s name, crystal meth and hypodermic needles in his vehicle, authorities said.
Frank Anunziata, 37, was charged with theft, credit card theft, forgery and possession of false documents, drugs and paraphernalia after an employee called police, Capt. Timothy Keenan said.

A Middlesex County man who drives bodies to the morgue stole credit cards that he found on them, authorities said.
Kevin Thomas, Jr., 43, of Sayreville, who works as a driver at an unidentified company, used the stolen credit cards to buy plane tickets, groceries, movie tickets and other items from businesses throughout Middlesex County, the said.
