Most Americans Say Trump Is Too Close To Russia, Erratic On Economy: Poll Results A majority of Americans believe President Donald Trump is "too closely aligned" with Russia and is handling the US economy in an erratic manner, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll. The two-day poll, completed Wednesday, March 12, found that 56 percent of respondents — including 89 percent of Democrats and 27 percent of Republicans —agreed that Trump was too close to Moscow.  In contrast, 40 percent disagreed, and four percent did not answer the question.
