: Construction Project Shuts Dover Bridge In Morris County For 10 Months
The bridge over the Rockaway River in Dover will soon be closed for construction for nearly 10 months. The East Blackwell Street bridge will close to all traffic starting Jan. 27, and a pedestrian bridge will be installed temporarily to maintain walking accessibility. : Bound Brook Recovers From Massive Fire
A seven-alarm fire tore through downtown Bound Brook Sunday night. The blaze broke out just before 8 p.m. in an unoccupied pair of buildings under construction on East Main Street near Mountain Avenue in the commercial district. Firefighters continued to douse hot spots into Monday morning. Several streets were closed and some residents remained without power morning, prompting a two-hour school delay. Dos Toros Opens First NJ Location In Florham Park
Dos Toros Taqueria is on its way to Florham Park. Construction on the Mexican restaurant is under way at the former site of Qdoba on Columbia Turnpike, Borough Building and Construction Administrator Kevin Guilfoyle confirmed. Dos Toros was launched by a pair of California brothers with a shared passion for taquerias, its website says. : New Valley Hospital Approved In Paramus
The Valley Hospital is one step closer to its new Paramus campus. The borough's Planning Board on Thursday night unanimously approved the seven-story, 362-bed plan for a 40-acre parcel near Winters Avenue, NorthJersey.com reports. The main entrance will be located at Valley Health Plaza and Winters Avenue, across the street from the Luckow Pavilion, Valley's same-day-surgery and comprehensive cancer center. Newark May Get Another 7-Eleven Store: Report
A plan has been submitted to Newark officials for the construction of a 7-11 convenience store in the North Ward, Jersey Digs magazine reported Friday. Syed Family LLC is seeking variances in order to build the store in the 800 block of Franklin Avenue near the Branch Brook Park light rail station. The site is now home to a gas station and a mechanic.

The site of the former Valero gas station in Lincoln Park will soon be replaced by a brand new retail space. "The Corner Shoppes" on Comly Road were approved by the LP Planning Board earlier this month. The 8,000-square-foot building opposite Boro Hall has five retail units up for lease, available August and September of this year.
