A customer pulled a handgun on a Hackensack 7-Eleven clerk who told him that state law requires him to see an ID before he can sell a tobacco product, authorities said. Tyreek D. Davis, 28, “became agitated and argued with the clerk” at the Essex Street store, before rushing out to his 2010 Chevrolet Impala and pulling out a Hi-Point Firearms CF380 semi-automatic handgun, Detective Capt. North Bergen Man Who Struck 2 Jersey City Pedestrians Was DUI, Prosecutor Says
A 37-year-old North Bergen man was under the influence of drugs when he struck two pedestrians with his car last year in Jersey City, authorities said. Lawrence Smith was arrested Monday morning in connection with the Nov. 23, 2019 incident, that injured a 50-year-old woman and her 22-year-old son, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.
