Missing Newark Dementia Patient Found Unharmed
UPDATE: The missing woman has been found unharmed. Police in Newark are seeking the public's help locating a woman with dementia, they said. Maria Martins, 68, was reported missing Tuesday, May 10, Newark Public Safety Director Brian A. O’Hara said. She was last seen walking west on Chestnut Street from Seabra’s Supermarket in Newark. She is described as 5’2” tall and 130 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. She speaks Portuguese and does not speak English. Boy Riding Bike, 14, Struck By Car In Newark
A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Newark Tuesday, authorities said. The boy was riding his bike when he was struck by a vehicle at McCarter Highway and Chestnut Street just before 6:25 p.m., Newark Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara said. He was rushed to University Hospital for treatment and the driver remained at the scene. Injuries were considered non-life threatening.

North Jersey Flight Attendant Found
A 24-year-old North Jersey flight attendant missing for more than a week was found unharmed, authorities announced Wednesday. Breyah "Bree" Pruden, of Newark. -- a flight attendant for United Airlines -- had last been seen June 10 in Newark's Ironbound area near Chestnut Street around 11:30 p.m. No further details were released by Newark police.
