At 1:30 a.m., officers engaged in a pursuit of a stolen vehicle, Bloomfield police said. The black BMW X5 eluded officers through Bloomfield and then into Newark, police said. Bloomfield police were involved in two separate crashes in Newark, injuring three officers and one civilian, police said. The injuries were minor, police said.
