A student was stabbed at Kean University on Tuesday, Sept. 19, university police said in a statement. At 8:15 p.m., university police responded to the basketball courts next to the Miron Student Center and transported the student to a nearby hospital, police said. Officers said they believe the incident is related to a group of people who were riding around the campus on bicycles. NJ Student Killed In Pedestrian Crash On UMass-Dartmouth Campus
A 19-year-old University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth student from the Jersey Shore was struck and killed by a car on campus, college officials said. Frankie Petillo Jr. was struck by a vehicle on Thursday, April 6, according to the college chancellor. Petillo, of the Manahawkin section of Strafford, was a freshman Bioengineering student. The college held a candlelight vigil on Monday. Petillo's death prompted students to launch a Change.org petition to improve street safety on campus. NJ Man Missing From Lehigh University
Officials at Lehigh University are seeking the public's help in locating a missing student. Daniel Lee, a second-year engineering student from New Jersey, was reported missing Friday, Jan. 20. Foul play is not suspected. Daniel is a university center facilities work-study student. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt with red sleeves, black-and-white athletic-type pants, and black sneakers. Body Found On University Of Maryland Campus
A man was found dead on the grass of the University of Maryland Campus, the school's police said. First responders found the man in the grass outside Mowatt Lane Parking Garage around 6 a.m. on Dec. 21. He was pronounced dead on the scene. There was no known threat to campus, according to police. Police have not identified the person who died. An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
