A 17-year-old driver was hospitalized following a head-on crash into a tree on a Ridgewood cul-de-sac. The Honda CR-V got the worst of the collision on Mulberry Place near North Maple Avenue shortly after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22. All Points towing removed the vehicle. A driver was hospitalized after two SUVs collided Tuesday night in Ridgewood. The extent of injuries couldn't immediately be determined after the hospitalized driver's older-model Toyota Highlander collided with a Ford Explorer at the corner of Franklin Avenue and North Walnut Stree. A Ridgewood Emergency Services ambulance took the victim to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. An 86-year-old driver from New York State refused medical attention after his SUV knocked over a fire hydrant and slammed into a utility pole in Ridgewood. Police issued a summons following the crash in the 100 block of Oak Street on Friday, March 10. The Emergency Services unit assisted with traffic control. A Jeep crashed through a fence and landed on its side after a collision Tuesday morning with a Paramus sanitation truck just off Route 17. The 23-year-old Jeep Compass driver climbed out on the passenger side with what responders described as a minor hand injury following the crash on East Ridgewood Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. March 7. Driver Freed, Hospitalized In Allendale T-Bone Crash
A driver was hospitalized after being extricated from an SUV following an afternoon rush-hour crash Monday in Allendale. Allendale firefighters and Ramsey Rescue personnel quickly freed the driver of the T-boned Nissan Rogue, which ended up on a lawn off the corner of busy Cottage Place and East Allendale Avenue -- a block from Franklin Turnpike -- around 4:30 p.m. Feb. 27.
