'Shoot Up The School' Threat Found Scrawled In Teaneck Middle School Bathroom
Someone scrawled a threat to shoot up a Teaneck middle school on the wall of a girl's restroom, the district's superintendent said Thursday. “I’m Shoot Up the School," reads the ungrammatical threat found at the Benjamin Franklin Middle School, Supt. Teen Busted For Threatening Others At FDU With Knife
An FDU student was arrested for threatening others at the school with a knife, authorities said. Lebron Eddie White, 19, of West Orange had fled the scene when officers responding to the call arrived at the Fairleigh Dickinson University campus on Thursday, Sept. 7, Teaneck Police Chief Andrew R. It began with an overnight call to police from a Teaneck resident who heard an electric saw being used just outside the family's home. In no time, catalytic converter thieves had hit at least a dozen vehicles in the area, Police Chief Andrew R. McGurr said. An intruder who tripped a burglar alarm at a Teaneck auto repair shop bolted out a back door as police responded, authorities said. The officers were conducting area business checks when they heard the alarm and rushed to Noah’s Automotive -- at the corner of Queen Anne Road and Degraw Avenue, shortly after 12:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6 -- Acting Police Chief Andrew R. Teaneck police seized four out-of-town teens -- one of them an underage boy who they said was carrying a loaded gun, a high-capacity magazine and hollow-point bullets -- after flooding local streets following a 14-vehicle burglary spree.
