Seen HER? Newark Woman Wanted For Questioning In Shooting

Authorities are seeking the public's help located a woman wanted in connection with a Newark shooting.

Tymara Lovett-Sankara, 24, is wanted in connection with a shooting between two men who were arguing around 8:30 p.m. last Sunday on Crawford Street, Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said.

No injuries have been reported, but police found a parked vehicle that damaged by gunfire following this incident.

The suspect fled in a gray Dodge Stratus with a temporary license plate, and heavy damage to the front bumper, driver's side rear door and passenger's side.

Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about the whereabouts of Lovett-Sankara to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
