Man Struck By Car Hospitalized In Serious Condition, Newark Authorities Say

A male pedestrian was hospitalized in serious condition Friday after being was hit by a vehicle in Newark overnight, authorities said.

The man was struck near the intersection of Clifton and Park avenues around 12:50 a.m., Friday, City Spokesperson Catherine Adams said.

The crash is currently being investigated, and the man was transported to a local hospital via ambulance.
