Know HIM? Newark Police Seek Suspect In Armed Gas Station Robbery

Authorities in Newark are seeking the public's help identifying a man who robbed a gas station.

The man pictured above approached a worker at Fuel 4 Gas Station on McCarter Highway and demanded cash at gunpoint on Sunday, police say.

The man stole between $800 and $900 and ran northbound down McCarter Highway, authorities said.

The suspect is estimated to be 5 feet 7 inches tall with a slim build and a dark complexion, police say.

He was wearing a neon yellow-green face mask, light blue jeans, tan work boots and a gray jacket with a neon yellow/green stripe at the time of the robbery, according to police.
