Grzegorz Wolak was in a red Ford Explorer when he struck Rachel McNeil on Passaic and Aycrigg avenues around 11:15 p.m. April 10, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Paterson Building Collapse Under Investigation Authorities are investigating a building collapse overnight in Paterson. The vacant, single-story building on Ryle Avenue collapsed around 12 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, the fire department said. The building is attached to a vacant three-story mill. Public Service Electric was on the scene working to isolate power to the street and manage downed wires. Crews are actively conducting primary searches of the collapsed area.

14-Year-Old Charged In Fatal Jersey City Shooting: Prosecutor A 14-year-old Jersey City boy was arrested and charged as a juvenile with murder on Monday, Oct. 21, in connection with a shooting that killed a 19-year-old on Friday, Oct. 11. At 5 p.m., Jersey City police responded to shots fired in Garfield Avenue and found Kashyne Grant suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment, where he was pronounced dead just after 10 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. The 14-year-old was charged with murder and multiple weapons offenses, Suarez said.
