The fire has displaced the family of seven, including three children, who escaped the home with only the clothes on their back. A fundraiser has been set up to assist the family.

"My children lost their school supplies and school uniforms," Tatiyana C., who organized the fundraiser and had lived in the home for 3.5 years, said. "My mom lost her pocketbook with all her funds and IDs. We are blessed that everyone made it out alive."
