The driver was heading south on Spring Street with a green light at Bond Street when the pedestrian began crossing Spring Street eastbound from Bond Street and was struck, city spokeswoman Ruby Contreras said. The crash initially appeared to be a hit-and-run, but the driver pulled over at Spring Street and East Grand Street and approached police, Contreras said.
