Charles Newcomer was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6:30 p.m., when he left from visiting his wife at the Brookdale assisted living facility in West Orange, police said. Newcomer is traveling in a red 2016 Jeep Wrangler  bearing the New Jersey registration SC688E which has a cover of the Marine Corp symbol on the spare tire., police said. Man With Dementia Missing In Belleville: Police A 72-year-old man diagnosed with dementia has been missing in Belleville since Sunday, Oct. 6, authorities said. Oscar was last seen in the area of St. Peters Church on William Street wearing a white jacket with red, yellow and blue stripes, blue jeans and blue sneakers, Belleville police said. 18-Year-Old Missing After Attending Soccer Game: West Orange Police An 18-year-old West Orange teenager has been reported missing, authorities said. Gideon Akwei was last seen at his residence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 after attending a West Orange High School soccer game, West Orange police said. The next morning,  his parents checked on him and noticed he was not in his bedroom, police said. Akwei is approximately 5'6", weighs 165 lbs. and was last seen wearing a black sweat suit and black sneakers, police said. He uses a black mountain bike as a mode of transportation.

Police ID Missing Fisherman Found Dead In NJ Lake Police have identified the fisherman who went missing and was later found dead in a New Jersey lake. Valeri Malov, of Pine Brook, had gone fishing in the body of water behind an industrial complex on Chapin Road Saturday morning, Aug. 24, Montville Police Chief Andrew Caggiano said. Responding officers found his fishing equipment on the shoreline and began a search of the area.  Malov's body was found the following day around 8:50 p.m. in the water, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, Caggiano said. James Lee, 61, of Sandyston, had been on a stand-up paddleboard on Kittatinny Lake when he fell into the water and did not re-emerge Friday, July 5 around 6:45 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. His body was recovered Sunday morning, July 8, according to Marchan. The incident remains under investigation.

Stanley Matthews, age 60, was last seen at 6:30 a.m., leaving his residence on West Upper Ferry Road for his morning walk, Ewing police said. Stanley has not been seen since and his cell phone is off or inoperable.  Stanley was last seen wearing a blue jacket and black sweatpants and is approximately 5' 10" tall.
