A 29-year-old Hackettstown man was arrested and charged on Halloween night for driving under the influence in Mt. Olive, authorities said. At 8:16 p.m., officers observed a Tesla pickup stopped at the intersection of Rt. 46 and Naughright road past the stop line into the intersection, Mount Olive police. A 45-year-old Budd Lake man was arrested and charged after he struck a parked car while driving drunk on Saturday, Oct. 26, authorities said. At 9:24 pm, officers responded to a parking lot in the Hensyn Village Apartment complex and found a man, later identified as Ross Newman, struck a parked car, exited his vehicle and entered an apartment, Mount Olive police said. A 43-year-old Union County man was arrested and charged with drunk driving after he struck a curb in Denville on Monday, Oct. 21, authorities said. Officers responded to 3056 Route 10 West after a black Honda struck a curb, Denville police said.
