WWE Hosting Two-Night Summerslam At MetLife Stadium Bergen County will be playing host to the biggest party of the summer, that's about to get even bigger. WWE announced it will be holding Summerslam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 and Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025. This is the first time Summerslam will be held over two nights. MetLife Stadium is no stranger to big WWE events, hosting Wrestlemania 29 in 2013 and Wrestlemania 35 in 2019. Passenger Jumps Out Of Moving SUV On NJ Turnpike In Bergen County: Police One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after plunging out of a moving vehicle along the New Jersey Turnpike, police said. A Hyundai SUV was traveling north on the western spur in East Rutherford at milepost 113.2 around 9:50 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 when the front seat passenger jumped from the moving car, NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The passenger struck the pavement and sustained serious injuries. No further information was provided.
