On Halloween night 2022, Cayla Dunham, a 21-year-old West Virginia resident and her boyfriend purchased what they thought was cocaine from Leonard Contreras in Raritan Township, Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée Robeson said. Man Attacked By Beaver: Raritan Township PD A man was attacked by a beaver while fishing in Raritan Township on Thursday, Nov. 7, authorities said. A 54-year-old Flemington man said he was fishing in the South Branch Raritan River when he noticed a beaver swimming nearby, Raritan Township police said. The man lost sight of the beaver only for the beaver to resurface and attack the victim, biting him on both legs, police said.
