Route 73 To Remain Closed Overnight Following Crash That Downed Power Lines: Police A portion of Route 73 will remain closed overnight following a crash on Thursday, Sept. 12. The crash involved a vehicle that struck a utility pole in front of the Lukoil at 921 North Route 73 in Mount Laurel around noon, police said.  PSE&G was called to the scene as power lines fell, blocking the roadway and Fellowship Road. While no injuries were reported, the road was expected to reopen sometime Friday, Sept. 13.

Boy Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train A boy was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train early Thursday, Aug. 8 in Burlington County, officials said. The crash happened just before 8:20 a.m. and involved a northbound River LINE train at Chestnut Street crossing in Palmyra, NJ Transit spokesman Kyalo Mulumba said.  There were no injuries reported to the 28 customers or the operator on board the light rail vehicle.  River LINE service is suspended between Cinnaminson and Route 73 and is subject to up to 30-minute delays in both directions. South Jersey Man Crashes, Found Shot In Vehicle: Police A driver was shot shortly before he was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in South Jersey, authorities said. The 30-year-old man from Voorhees had a gunshot wound when police arrived at the crash scene at Route 73 and Cooper Road at about 11:15 p.m. on Friday, May 17, Voorhees police said.
