A pedestrian was struck and killed in a two-vehicle crash on New Year’s Eve in Atlantic City, police said. The incident occurred at 10:47 p.m. on December 31, 2024, at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Absecon Boulevard, according to the Atlantic City Police Department. An Atlantic City man suspected of selling cocaine pleaded guilty to charges in three cases, authorities said. A Barnegat man will spend several years in prison after admitting to shooting another man in Atlantic City almost two years ago, authorities said.
