South Jersey Teen Run Over By Tow Truck Fighting 'Like A Champ' In Hospital: Fundraiser Friends and loved ones were rallying to support an Egg Harbor Township teen who was critically injured by a tow truck after falling off her bicycle. A GoFundMe page said 15-year-old Emily Davis was riding her bike with her brother and a family friend on Ocean Heights Avenue after visiting her mother at her salon on Wednesday, May 8. She was struck by a 2021 Ford tow truck after losing her balance and falling into its path. Davis was rushed to a hospital and airlifted to Cooper University Medical Center in Camden.
