A man was accused of intentionally starting a fire at an Atlantic County motel, displacing tenants and causing extensive damage, authorities said. Shawn Negron, 31, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 25, the Franklin Township Police Department said in a news release. His address was listed as the Budget Lodge on South Harding Highway in the Landisville section of Buena. Man Impersonated Closed Electrical Contractor To Scam South Jersey Homeowner, Police Say
A Mount Laurel man was accused of impersonating the owner of a closed electrical contractor, scamming a Medford Township resident out of thousands of dollars, authorities said. Vincent Squire, 61, was given eight charges, the Medford Township Police Department said in a news release. A Medford resident paid $4,675 to Squire to hire CB's Electrical Contracting, LLC in May to perform electrical work at their home. A man was accused of spray painting antisemitic graffiti on a wall in front of a Monmouth County home, authorities said. Joseph Antebi, 25, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 16, the Township of Ocean Police Department said in a news release. A hometown wasn't immediately available for Antebi. A Woodstown man was accused of intentionally setting fire to sheds at a Little League baseball complex in Williamstown, authorities said. Anthony Lindsey, 43, was charged with arson and criminal mischief, the Monroe Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 5. A Point Pleasant man was accused of stealing and crashing a plane in Atlantic County, authorities said. Vineland Man Charged With Break-In At South Jersey Business: Police
A 64-year-old man was charged with breaking into a business in Bridgeton, authorities said. David Carty, of Vineland, was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief, according to Bridgeton police. Carty is accused of breaking into Pastelmex bakery and cafe at 694 N.
