Roadside Miracle: First Responders Deliver Baby On Garden State Parkway A newborn girl named Amelia made a dramatic entrance into the world on the side of the Garden State Parkway with the help of Cape May County first responders. Upper Township paramedics and Seaville firefighters were called to the northbound side of the parkway at around 9:03 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, Seaville Fire Rescue said in a Facebook post. A mother in labor had pulled over near milepost 21, unable to reach the hospital in time.
