A 13-year-old boy was killed after he was trapped beneath a farm tractor in Gloucester County on Monday, July 6, authorities said. At 5:35 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Swedesboro Road and found the 13-year-old unconscious and unresponsive beneath the overturned tractor, Franklin Township police said. The boy was helping a family member dig a hole using the tractor and was riding on it with a man when the tractor overturned, trapping him, police said. A three-alarm fire left multiple business uninhabitable in Spring Lake on Friday, July 3. That evening, firefighters responded to a blaze at 1308 Third Ave and found three floors on fire, Spring Lake Fire Department said. A 24-year-old Little Egg Harbor Township man was arrested and charged with tossing a Molotov cocktail onto a porch, authorities announced Monday, July 6. On Wednesday, July 1 at 11:30 p.m., Little Egg Harbor police and firefighters responded to Oneida Lake Drive after a fire started on a porch caused by the Molotov cocktail, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.
