Nearly $6M In Federal Money Awarded To NJ Waterfront Development, Ferry Terminal Nearly $6 million in federal infrastructure money will go toward the redevelopment of the waterfront including a new Ferry Terminal in Carteret, federal and local officials announced on Wednesday, June 26. U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg unveiled  $1.8 billion for 148 projects nationwide under the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program.
