Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car On Route 21: Prosecutor A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle along Route 21 in Passaic on Tuesday, Oct. 22, authorities said. The unidentified male was struck by an Acura sedan while trying to cross the roadway in the northbound lanes around 8:05 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Department Chief Luis A. Guzman said. The victim was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at approximately 8:50 p.m. The driver of the vehicle that struck the victim remained on scene and called 911. Scooterist Killed In Route 280 Crash: Njsp A 32-year-old man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while riding a scooter on Route 280 in Newark on Sunday, Aug. 4, authorities aid. At 4:17 a.m., the man was operating an electric scooter on Route 280 East when he was struck by a Chrysler, Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police man. The man, whose name has not been identified pending next of kin notification, sustained fatal injuries, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

1 Dead In Fiery Roselle Crash Authorities are investigating a fiery crash that let one person dead in Roselle. It happened on the in the 400 block of East 1st Street where two vehicles purportedly collided head-on. Police confirmed that the accident was fatal but provided no details beyond that. News12 says the victim was a 21-year-old man in a BMW, the vehicle that caught fire.  Good Samaritans tried to save the victim, who they said was unresponsive by the time they got him out of the vehicle. Two Motorcyclists Killed In Four-Vehicle Crash On Route 78 Two motorcyclists were killed in a four-vehicle crash on Route 78 in Union County on Sunday, June 2, authorities said. At 6:06 p.m., a Lexus SUV, Honda passenger vehicle, BMW motorcycle and Suzuki motorcycle were traveling eastbound on Route 78 in Berkeley Heights when the BMW struck the back of the Honda, causing the Suzuki to strike the back of the BMW, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
