The event, which was hosted by Building America's Future, was scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Drexelbrook Catering in Drexel Hill as part of Trump's "America's Future Tour." Northern Lights Dazzle NJ Residents Residents across the Northeast were dazzled by the Northern Lights, visible Thursday evening, Oct. 10. The purple and pink lights were visible due to a Solar Storm, or a Coronal Mass Ejection from the sun on Tuesday, Oct. 8 which arrived in the area Thursday. "I got a text from a friend about 30 minutes ago," said Joe Jenkins, of Poughkeepsie, NY, "so I ran out and looked due north. You couldn’t miss it."
