Seven Mega Millions lottery players matched four of the five white balls and the Mega Ball drawn winning the $10,000 third-tier prize.

Man Steals Central Jersey Police Car, Crashes It Twice: Report
A Paterson man was arrested after stealing a South Amboy police car and getting into two different crashes, NJ Advance Media reported.
Woodbridge police responded to the stolen car at 1:05 p.m. on Monday, July 4.
After crashing the stolen car on Route 35, Jamil T. Robinson, 28, fled on foot and allegedly tried to carjack three other vehicles, the outlet said.
Robinson was charged with three counts of carjacking, as well as assault by auto, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property, obstruction, and endangering an injured victim, according to the report.

More than 60,000 homeowners may be eligible to sue a Central Jersey water company over high levels of "forever chemicals" found in their water, NJ Advance Media reported.
Middlesex Water customers in Woodbridge, Clark, Metuchen, South Plainfield, Carteret, and Edison can join a class action lawsuit after high levels of Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOAs) were detected at a South Plainfield treatment plant, the outlet said.

NJ Parents, Teen Gymnast Son Killed In Florida Remembered (Tribute)
Funeral arrangements have been set for two parents and one of their sons killed in a Florida crash over the weekend.
Alfred Prieto, Danielle Prieto, and their youngest son, Antonio Prieto were killed when a truck changing lanes on Interstate 75 struck their SUV around 10 p.m. last Friday, NJ Advance Media reports. All three were pronounced dead at the scene, and all were wearing seatbelts.
Alfred and Danielle's two other sons, Alec, 25, and Roberto, a Millburn High School senior, survive them. They were not in the vehicle.

Passenger Killed, 2 Others Hurt In Garden State Parkway Crash On Christmas Eve
A passenger was killed and two others hurt when their minivan flipped on the Garden State Parkway on Christmas Eve, authorities said.
Devona Hutchinson, 47, of New Brunswick, was pronounced dead on the scene, according to New Jersey State Police.
The driver, Samuel Huff, 67, of East Orange, sustained minor injuries. The other passenger, police said. Tara Garland, 46, of Edison, sustained serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital.
The crash occurred at about 7:52 a.m. when a Dodge Caravan heading south at mile marker 132.2 in Woodbridge overturned, police said.
