Firefighters Find Car On Roof, Driver Self-Extricated In Salem County A driver escaped a rollover crash relatively unscathed Saturday, Oct. 5 in South Jersey, firefighters said. Willow Grove firefighters responded to Parvin Mill Road and Middle Drive where the vehicle had rolled over and struck a utility pole, the department said in a news release. Person Injured When Vehicle Crashes Into Utility Pole In South Jersey: Police A person was injured when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole and overturned in South Jersey, authorities said. The vehicle struck a utility pole in front of Bagel King on West County Line Road in Jackson Township on Tuesday, July 30, police Chief Matthew Kunz said. A Facebook user posted a picture of the damage from the crash at around 7:25 a.m. The picture showed a dark-colored vehicle on its side. The utility pole was damaged and wires were hanging low over the crash site. One person in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, Chief Kunz said.

Driver Falls Asleep, Causes Power Outage For 1,000 In Barnegat, Police Say Nearly 1,000 people are without power in Barnegat Sunday morning, June 30 due to a car that ran off the road when its driver fell asleep at the wheel and struck a utility pole, police said. The 23-year-old woman crashed a 2019 Honda eastbound on West Bay Avenue, snapping the pole and leaving 1,000 homes in the dark, police said. Atlantic City Electric was on scene making repairs and restoring power to the area. The driver was treated on scene by Quality Medical but refused further medical attention.

At 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, officers were alerted to a single-car crash on Route 535.  The preliminary investigation shows a Nissan Maxima, operated by a 65-year-old man from South River, left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Neither the Honda Pilot nor the driver who was making a cellphone call in a sedan parked in the 500 block of Harristown Road was injured in the afternoon crash, responders said.
