A dump truck overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 9:40 a.m. on Friday, June 7 on the inner roadway northbound near Interchange 8A in East Brunswick Township, according to the NJDOT. Two right lanes of three lanes were blocked, 511nj.org reported.

Atlantic City Man Indicted In Teen Pedestrian's Hit-And-Run Death
An Atlantic City man was indicted in the death of a teen pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash in Absecon, authorities said. A grand jury indicted 52-year-old Everette Williams on Tuesday, June 4, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. His indictment was for second-degree leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident which resulted in death. Police were at the scene of a crash in which a car overturned on Route 1 in North Brunswick, authorities said. The two-car crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 6 southbound near Adams Lane, according to the NJDOT. One of the drivers suffered minor injuries, North Brunswick police said. All lanes were closed for about 50 minutes, police said.

Police were investigating after two people died in a crash in Ocean County, authorities said. The "crash with fatalities" happened in Jackson Township at around 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. South Jersey Truck Driver Killed In Garden State Parkway Crash
An Ocean County man was killed when his tractor-trailer went off the Garden State Parkway in Atlantic County, authorities said. Brian Ross, 60, of Brick Township, died in the crash on Thursday, May 9, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 43.3 on the Garden State Parkway North in Galloway at around 12:05 p.m. Investigators said Ross's Kenworth tractor-trailer went off the parkway and crashed into several trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene. State police are investigating the crash.
