An Ocean County man will spend more than a decade in prison after admitting to pulling a knife on a pharmacy employee in a robbery, authorities said.
Christopher Hurley, 27, of Little Egg Harbor, was sentenced on Friday, June 7 to 12 years in state prison, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. He pleaded guilty to robbery on Monday, Mar. 18.

A Toms River woman was accused of using her cellphone while driving in a crash that killed a boy in her minivan and a Jackson Township woman, authorities said.

Two men were accused of stealing from several businesses throughout Ocean County, authorities said.

$50K Powerball Ticket Sold At Toms River Convenience Store
A Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was purchased at a Toms River convenience store, officials said.
The winner was sold at Singin Oil on Lakewood Road, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release. The ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball in the drawing on Monday, May 13.
The winning numbers were 5, 14, 29, 38, and 66. The Powerball number was 1.
No one won the estimated $48 million jackpot. Six other tickets across the country also won $50,000.
The next Powerball drawing is on Wednesday, May 14 and the jackpot is an estimated $59 million.
