A family is rallying for support after the sudden death of Toms River resident Alexander Moy.
According to a GoFundMe page, 55-year-old Alexander "Alex" Moy died suddenly on Saturday, Dec. 30. As of Wednesday, Jan. 3, Moy's GoFundMe had raised at least $3,800 from 18 donations.
The memorial fundraiser called Moy a great partner, brother, son, friend, and uncle.

South Jersey high school graduate, talented pianist, and devoted father Steven Dennis Scalzi died suddenly in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, Aug. 13. He was 22.
Born at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Washington Township, Steven attended Chestnut Assembly of God and more recently Victory Assembly of God in Pittsgrove, his obituary says.
Steven was known for his endlessly curious mind, his caring heart, and his talent for music, especially playing the piano.
Above all, Steven is remembered for embracing his role as a loving and devoted father to his daughter, Luna Alice Rae Scalzi.

The organs of a New Jersey mom who died suddenly will help save the lives of others.
Kelsey Gilmore, 30, was found unresponsive at home on Feb. 21, those who knew the family say. After several tests and nearly a week on a ventilator, she was declared brain dead and removed from life support.
