Trio Indicted In Botched Armed Robbery, Attempted Murder, Monmouth Prosecutor Says
Three men from Central Jersey have been indicted for attempted murder and armed robbery, authorities said.
Thaddeus West Jr., 21, and Suncere Smith, 27, both of Neptune City; and Kingphess Gomez, 21, of Woodbury in Gloucester County, all are charged with first-degree armed robbery, first-degree conspiracy, first-degree attempted murder, second-degree certain persons not to possess a firearm, and other related second-degree weapons offenses, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.

Teenager, Woman Shot In Atlantic City, Police Say
A 52-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were shot in Atlantic City, authorities said.
At 10:55 p.m, Wednesday, Atlantic City police were called to the 700 block of North Michigan Avenue on a ShotSpotter alert.
Police found evidence of gunfire, but no victim, according to Sergeant Paul Aristizabal, a police department spokesman.
A short time later, two unidentified female victims, both of Atlantic City, arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division suffering from gunshot wounds, Aristizabal said. Their injuries are considered non-life threatening, he said. …
South Jersey Pair Arrested In Shooting, Handguns Recovered
A 20-year-old man and a teenager from Atlantic City have been arrested in connection with a shooting, authorities said.
Saalih Davis, 20, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, conspiracy, weapons offenses and possessing heroin, according to Atlantic City Lt. Kevin Fair.
A 14-year-old, whose name has not been released since he is a juvenile offender, also was charged with attempted murder, Fair said. He was carrying two handguns when he was caught, Fair said.

South Jersey Man, Woman Hurt In Atlantic City Shooting
A man from Galloway Township and a woman from Atlantic City were wounded by gunfire on Tuesday night, authorities said.
At 9:32 pm, Atlantic City patrol officers responded to the first block of south Florida Avenue on a ShotSpotter alert, according to Lt. Kevin Fair, a city police spokesman.
A man and woman, who were in the same vehicle, were wounded in the gunfire, Fair said. Their names have not been released.
The man, 33, of Galloway, was shot and drove himself to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries, Fair said.
