An 18-year-old Pennsylvania man extorted nearly $13,000 from a New Jersey juvenile in exchange for not posting sexually explicit images that he'd convinced the victim to send him, federal authorities charged.
Diego Ramos, 19, of Blakeslee, PA used multiple Instagram accounts and other social media and messaging platforms to successfully coerce the Perth Amboy minor into send him sexually explicit images and videos beginning late this past May, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.

South Jersey Man Admits Trying To Meet Teen Girl Who Was Actually Undercover Detective
A 26-year-old man from South Jersey has admitted to sexually-explicit conversations with a 14-year-old girl who turned out to be an undercover detective, authorities said.
Richard Hoffman, of Mays Landing, pleaded guilty to luring on Monday, Feb. 14, before in connection with a series of events that occurred in Toms River between Sept. 4, 2018 and Sept. 5, 2018, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
Hoffman’s sentencing is set for April 29.

2 South Jersey Men Face 5 Years State Prison On Child Porn Charges, Burlington Prosecutor Says
Two men from South Jersey, one from Gloucester County and the other from Burlington County, face five years in state prison on child pornography charges, authorities said.
In separate cases, Albert Pisanelli, 38, of Deptford and David Bucci, 42, of Burlington City, both pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina.
Coffina said that both men admitted to possessing more than 25 images or videos of children engaging in sexual acts and sharing those files on the internet.

Last year’s $1 million winner of TV’s “American Ninja Warrior” competition lured an underage girl to New Jersey and Connecticut for sex, said federal authorities who arrested him.
The girl’s mother confronted Andrew Drechsel, 31, after discovering he’d had sex with her daughter at his “Ninja Gym” in Hamden, CT as a 15th birthday present, authorities said.
