The mayor of one Jersey Shore town bought a last-minute ticket to Poland to help Ukrainian refugees at the border. Point Pleasant Beach Mayor Paul Kanitra — whose family is Polish and Slovakian — made the announcement Tuesday, March 1 on Facebook.
