: Stolen Car Trio Nabbed On FDU Campus After Pursuit
UPDATE: A trio of Newark thieves were captured on the FDU campus in Teaneck after they led police on a stolen car chase out of Franklin Lakes. Paramus Police Officer Sean Casey began pursuing the white 2017 Audi 7 on eastbound Route 4 shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, Deputy Police Chief Robert M. Guidetti said. Teaneck police headed to the scene after the Audi collided with a civilian's vehicle four or so miles away on eastbound Route 4 at River Road in Teaneck. Troubled Teen Rescued After Tense Moments On Hackensack River
A troubled teen was quickly pulled from the Hackensack River by emergency responders before dawn Saturday. New Milford Police Lt. Scott Petrie and Officers Jillian Agnello and Daniel O’Neill found the girl on the bridge on Old New Bridge Road around 3 a.m. She'd been reported missing earlier, Capt. Kevin Van Saders said. : Hero Police Officer Saves Troubled Girl, 14, Who Jumped Into Hackensack River
A rookie River Edge police officer dove into the Hackensack River to rescue a troubled teen who quickly began drowning after she jumped in. Officer Maclane Doran and the 14-year-old girl both went under at least once as the current took her under a footbridge late Wednesday, April 27, River Edge Police Chief Michael J. Walker said. Police: Fleeing Shoplifter Struck On Busy Route 4
A fleeing shoplifter was struck and injured running across Route 4 in River Edge, authorities said. Jaime Rojas, a 35-year-old repeat offender from Bloomfield, was standing at the bus shelter on the westbound side of the highway around 5:45 p.m. Thursday when police investigating a shoplifting at the nearby CVS spotted him, River Edge Police Chief Michael Walker said. Hackensack PD Nabs Teen Offender In River Edge Diner Assault, Charges Expected In Other Towns
Hackensack police nabbed a wanted 18-year-old city man who authorities said assaulted the owner of The River Edge Diner shortly after being released on burglary charges out of Teaneck. Denys Ludizaca was being processed at River Edge police headquarters Tuesday afternoon on robbery charges from Saturday's diner incident following his capture in Hackensack.
