Significant progress has been made in renovating the Atlantic City Aquarium but the long-delayed reopening has been pushed back once again, officials said. Long-Delayed Reopening Of Atlantic City Aquarium Pushed Back Again
After four years of delays, visitors will have to wait a few more months to return to the Atlantic City Aquarium. The North New Hampshire Avenue aquarium will reopen in September, the city said. Mayor Marty Small Sr. previously said in February that the facility would reopen on Monday, July 1. A popular Asbury Park concert venue is getting ready to rock again more than six months after it was severely damaged by flooding. House of Independents posted a teaser photo on Instagram on Wednesday, Apr. 10. The post hinted at a summer reopening and said a "2.0" version of the Cookman Avenue venue was "now loading." Atlantic City Aquarium Nears Reopening
After sitting closed for nearly four years, the Atlantic City Aquarium seems like it's about to welcome visitors back soon. Mayor Marty Small Sr. is expected to announce the aquarium's reopening date during his State of the City Address on Friday, Feb. 2, officials said. The speech will be during the Metropolitan Business and Citizens Association Foundation Winter Luncheon at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
