Two winning Powerball tickets worth $50,000 were sold in Ocean County over Christmas week. The NJ Lottery says the first ticket was for the drawing on Monday, Dec. 25, and it was purchased at the 7-Eleven store on Radio Road in Little Egg Harbor Township. A 28-year-old man from the Jersey Shore was found guilty on Friday, March 3 in a fatal crash that killed one teenager and critically injured a second girl, authorities said. Youths Critically Hurt In Head-On Jersey Shore Crash, Manahawkin Driver Charged
Two juveniles were critically hurt in a head-on crash in Ocean County, authorities said. The other car's driver, from Manahawkin, was charged on Monday with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault by auto, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. Authorities are searching for an Ocean County man wanted in a shooting. Donald Rutter, 51, of Tuckerton is wanted for attempted murder and weapons charges, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
