A precious, pink, 13.15-carat diamond from Qatar was among the $90 million worth of jewelry that a New Jersey relationship psychic convinced a client to swipe in his quest for love, court papers say. John Lee, who has a mailing address on Route 17 in Paramus, met his alleged victim on a website called Purple Garden, where he posed as a "love expert" under the username 1111Giovanni1111, federal prosecutors said in court papers filed in Florida. After his brother backtracked suspicions of foul play in his death, Grant Wahl's wife announced the true cause on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Wahl, the Princeton University grad who died in his seat while covering the World Cup in Qatar, suffered an aortic aneurysm, his wife, Celine Grounder, said on “CBS Mornings." “It’s just one of those things that had been likely brewing for years,” she said. Pilot Killed In PA Plane Crash ID'd As Air Force Vet
The pilot who died in a plane crash Friday at a Pennsylvania airport has been identified as a 50-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran. Andy Travnicek was heading north in a T-6 Texan when the plane suddenly veered to the left and crashed into the grass and caught fire at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport around 12:35 p.m. Travnicek, the sole occupant of the air craft, was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a commercial airline pilot and a certified flight instructor. The plane was part of the GEICO Skytypers Air Show Team, which flies World War II-era aircrafts. …
