DWI Driver Traveled Down Boardwalk On Jersey Shore After Crashing Into Vehicle, Police Say An Avon-by-the-Sea man was accused of driving while intoxicated when he crashed into a vehicle and drove onto the Belmar boardwalk, authorities said. Jason Nagy, 44, was arrested on Thursday, July 11, the Belmar Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to a crash near the intersection of Second and Ocean avenues at around 9:16 a.m. Investigators said Nagy was driving north in the southbound lane on Ocean Avenue when he crashed into another vehicle.
