The crash happened north of Exit 98 on the southbound side of the parkway in Wall Township on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the state Department of Transportation said. The exit is the interchange for Interstate 195, Route 34, and Route 138 East. All lanes of the parkway remained open. An NJDOT camera showed several emergency vehicles along the parkway's shoulder. Route 9 closed at around 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, according to the state Department of Transportation (NJDOT). Traffic was blocked between Church and Cox Cro roads as first responders and investigators stayed at the crash scene.
