Phillipsburg Pedestrian Struck On Route 22 Flown To Hospital With Serious Injuries A Phillipsburg man had to be flown to a local hospital after he was hit by a car on Route 22 Friday evening, Clinton Township police said. Jack Lucas, 29, was walking east on Route 22 when he was struck by a white Chevy Impala driven by Kathleen Webster of Lebanon shortly after 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, authorities said. Lucas sustained serious injuries and was flown to Morristown Memorial Hospital for treatment, authorities said. Webster was not injured, authorities said. This investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed.
