A Seaside Park man was accused of leaving the scene of a crash that killed a Toms River man, authorities said. John Marrone, 68, was charged with causing death or injury while driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and knowingly leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in death. The Edison Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its lieutenants. The department announced the death of Lt. Donald Ship on Wednesday, July 10. A cause of death was not provided.
